Ashley Beale BSc(Hons) MRICS MCIOB

Director

Ashley has over 30 years experience in delivering complex capital infrastructure projects both in the UK and overseas. The scope of his experience is extensive and encompasses a broad range of skills in different sectors, which is reflected by his professional status in several Chartered Institutions.

His career to date has progressed from Graduate Engineer in one the UK’s major contractors to Director of specialist consultancy teams within a top 5 multidisciplinary consultancy business. This has provided Ashley with skills that are developed from practical industry experience and he is now a highly accomplished and qualified individual.

Ashley was the Director responsible for the Strategic Planning Team at Capita Symonds, which provided project planning services to its Clients and subsidiaries. He was ideally suited for this position as his career has been synonymous with programming and planning at all project levels and at various points within the project life cycle.

Forensic planning and claims analysis has been a part of Ashley’s career from an early stage. His forensic analysis and professional advice has incorporated technical, statutory, legal, regulatory and political considerations when assessing impact on programme and cost. In order for Ashley to fully appraise impacts for both potential (at the start of a project) and actual (at completion) he uses tools such as critical path analysis, risk analysis & mitigation and Monte Carlo simulation to determine completion probability. He uses industry leading software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, PowerProject and Primavera Risk Manager.
